Closure of UNMIL

The United Nations Mission in Liberia was established in October 2003 to support for the implementation of a ceasefire agreement and peace process, and to assist with the maintenance and restoration of law and order throughout Liberia. The mission successfully completed its mandate on 30 March 2018.

<p style="text-align: justify;">The program Monday featured :</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Dr. Francis Kateh</strong>-Liberia&rsquo;s Chief Medical Officer who provided an update on the health condition of those plagued by the &ldquo;strange disease&rdquo; in &nbsp;&nbsp;Sinoe County</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Sam Collins</strong>-LNP Spokesperson also provided an update on the activities of the National Police</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Darius Weamie</strong>-Margibi County Information Officer disclosed that the county service center makes progress in its service delivery as major streets get rehabilitated</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Ernest Duku Jallah</strong>-Program Assistant/National Youth Movement for Transparent Elections-NAYMOTE explains that the group is undertaking engagements on the local government act and the decentralization policy</p>
