Under the terms of reference of the Redeployment Coordination Committee, a Joint Operations Centre (JOC) was formed by the parties as a mechanism to report on the observed movements and developments on the ground in Hudaydah as they relate to the Stockholm Agreement (2018). Two members from each party comprise the JOC which has been designed to enable the representatives of both to be co-located and facilitate 24/7 immediate communication and direct contact in support of de-escalation efforts.
