Today is International Day for Mine Awareness and Assistance in Mine Action.
Hudaydah, 4 April 2024 – It's important to on this International Mine Awareness Day that I create and get across a message on mine awareness and on this terrible curse that affects particularly the people of Hudaydah governorate.
Five international military observers of the UN Mission to Support the Hudaydah Agreement were awarded the United Nations Special Medal Award by the Chief of Mission, Michael Beary, for their invaluable contribution to peace and security in Hudaydah.
The UN Mission to support the Hudaydah Agreement (UNMHA) is working to fulfill its responsibilities mandated by Security Council Resolution 2534 (2020). The Mission is undertaking community-led efforts to contribute towards peace and security.

HUDAYDAH, 29 August 2023 – UNMHA is gravely concerned about continued civilian deaths and injuries, most recently due to two incidents of landmines and other explosive remnants of war (ERW) in Ad Durayhimi district of Hudaydah Governorate.
