HEAD OF MISSION /FORCE COMMANDER VISIT TO UMIC - 08 NOV 2021

On November 8th, Head of Mission and Force Commander, Lt Gen Ishwar Hamal, UNDOF, visited the Uruguayan Mech Company.

The Officer Commanding, UMIC Lt Col Elbih H. Berriel, welcomed the HOM/FC and the troops presented a Guard of Honor. Following salutation from the honor guard, the Force Commander was briefly highlighted on the operations, logistics, and other activities of the newly arrived unit.

Thereafter, the HOM/FC visited UNP86B and inspected the newly established OP by NEPENGR PL. After inspection of the position, the HOM/FC addressed the troops by welcoming them to the mission area and encouraging the troops to work diligently to fulfill the mission mandate.
