The United Nations Mission to Support the Hudaydah Agreement (UNMHA) was established on 16 January 2019 pursuant to Security Council resolution 2452 (2019) to support the implementation of the Hudaydah Agreement in Yemen. Its mandate concluded on 31 March 2026, and United Nations support to peace efforts in Yemen continues under the leadership of the Office of the Special Envoy of the Secretary-General for Yemen (OSESGY).

Security Council unanimously adopts resolution renewing UNMHA's mandate

The Security Council today (July 13) renewed the mandate of the UN mission to support the Hodeidah Agreement (UNMHA) for one year until July 14, 2023.
