On 23 June, UNMHA’s staff from four different locations within Yemen and Jordan came together to observe a moment of silence to honour the memory of United Nations personnel who lost their lives in the line of duty over the course of last year.

Overcoming time and location, staff from the Yemeni cities of Hudaydah, Sanaa and Aden, and the Jordanian capital of Amman stood in silence concurrently for 60 seconds in sorrow and solidarity with the UN Secretary-General António Guterres, who held an Annual Memorial Service to honour departed colleagues on the same day in New York.
