Bringing Impact Where It Matters Most

UNMHA’s Quick Impact Projects (#QIPs) are small-scale initiatives designed to address urgent community needs and support the implementation of the #Hudaydah_Agreement. These projects tackle a diverse range of local priorities, helping to strengthen stability and improve daily life for communities affected by conflict.
One standout achievement is the rehabilitation of Al-Jadeed Health Center in Al-Khaw

khah District. The project brought much-needed maternal care services and reliable energy to the facility—ending long journeys for care and ensuring safer, more accessible support for women and children in the area.
From March to May 2025, #UNMHA conducted a field assessment of its 2023–2024 QIPs across Al-Khawkhah and Hays districts. The goal was to understand how these projects have made a difference, draw lessons, and guide future efforts. Six projects were completed in 2023 alone, all rooted in locally identified needs and implemented with community input.
Despite ongoing security challenges, UNMHA remains committed to empowering local communities and supporting peace. The Mission continues to engage with stakeholders in #Hudaydah to ensure QIPs are effective, relevant, and owned by the people they serve.
