UNMHA’s Deputy Head of Mission Vivian van de Perre concluded a two-day workshop with women community leaders from Hudaydah’s southern districts in Aden.
UNMHA has been working in Hudaydah governorate since 2019. The Governorate’s three ports of Hudaydah, As Salif and Ras Issa are the main ports of entry for close to 70% of Yemen’s imports, including critical commercial and humanitarian goods.

The Director of the United Nations Mine Action Service (UNMAS) Ms Ilene Cohn concluded a week-long visit to Yemen where she visited Hudaydah, one of the most mine and explosive remnants of war-affected governorates in Yemen.
