  • 04 Feb 2020 - HUDAYDAH, 4 February 2020 — The Head of the United Nations Mission to Support the Hudaydah Agreement (UNMHA) and the Chair of the Redeployment Coordination Committee (RCC), Lt. Gen. (Ret.) Abhijit Guha, said he was deeply concerned by the aerial strike that took place in Al Dahi district (north of Hudaydah city), on 31 January. Lt. Gen. Guha notes that any aerial attack undermines the spirit of the Hudaydah Agreement and jeopardizes its implementation.

  • 08 Nov 2019 - HUDAYDAH, 8 November 2019 — The recent establishment of five Observation Posts along the Hudaydah city frontlines has led to a significant reduction in violence on the ground.   • 12 May 2019 - HUDAYDAH, 12 May 2019 — The first day of the redeployment of Ansar Allah (Houthi) forces from the three ports of Hudaydah, Salif and Ras-Issa went in accordance with established plans. All three ports were monitored simultaneously by United Nations teams as the military forces left the ports and the Coast Guard took over responsibility for security. In the following days, activities are expected to focus on removal of military manifestations and demining.
