12 Jul 2023 - HUDAYDAH, 12 July 2023 – UNMHA's Head of Mission and Chair of the Redeployment Coordination Committee Major General (rtd) Michael Beary briefed on the situation in Hudaydah in a closed session of the Security Council briefing on Yemen Monday. Maj. Gen Beary took stock of the steady progress in the implementation of the Mission’s mandate in the Hudaydah governorate, with a particular focus on the situation at the Hudaydah ports.

05 Jul 2023 - HUDAYDAH, 5 July 2023 – The United Nations Mission to support the Hudaydah Agreement (UNMHA) expresses concern over the reported ceasefire violations in Hays district, south of Hudaydah governorate, during which five children were injured. UNMHA condemns, in the strongest terms, this serious incident and wishes full recovery to the injured children.

13 Feb 2023 - As part of UNMHA’s efforts to increase engagement with local community groups and advance the Women, Peace and Security (WPS) agenda in support of the Mission’s mandate in Hudaydah, UNMHA’s Deputy Head of Mission Vivian van de Perre visited Aden where she held discussions with Yemeni women leaders, community groups and small businesses.

26 Sep 2022 - HUDAYDAH, 26 September 2022 – UNMHA is gravely concerned about continued civilian deaths and injuries in Hudaydah due to explosive ordnance. Since the shift of the frontlines on 12 November 2021, 242 civilian casualties consisting of 101 deaths and 141 injuries, have been reported in Hudaydah due to landmines and other explosive remnants of war (ERW). -

Prior, she served as the Mission Chief of Staff for the United Nations Organization Stabilization Mission in the Central African Republic (MINUSCA) in the first half of 2022, as well as from 2018 to 2020.
